Summer (roughly May–September) often brings calmer water inside the bay and clearer conditions for reflections and clean shoreline curves—great for wide scenic compositions. Winter (roughly November–March) can deliver moodier skies and more dynamic surf, but also more showers and wind; plan for quick weather changes and embrace the dramatic cloud layers.
