Poʻipū Sunset Shore

Year-round sunsets are great on Kauaʻi’s south shore, but late spring through early fall often brings clearer evenings and calmer ocean surfaces that enhance reflections and color. Winter can deliver the most dramatic skies and rain curtains on the horizon, but expect stronger winds, bigger surf, and more frequent squalls—arrive early and be flexible for breaks in the clouds.
